3 Songs in G Major

Lately I have been experimenting with tuning my guitar to DGDGBD. This is actually G Major, which is personally a special chord and scale for me. I had made a short arrangement in G major in standard tuning (1st video). Now I have made another arrangement in G major, this time changing the tuning of my guitar altogether (2nd video) in search of what this scale represents.

This tuning is also used in blues guitar.

I arranged “Know How” by Kings of Convenience for ukulele. I have prepared 3 tabs for this video that can be helpful for you.

Ukulele: Yesterday

Today I played yesterday in arpeggio style. I prepared a video for it and I also arranged the song and prepared the tabs for it. Pinhani-Hele Bi Gel (Ukulele solo)

Bir süredir @caglanukulele adlı instagram hesabımda ukulele videoları paylaşıyorum. Bu videolardan bazılarının uzun versiyonlarını youtube hesabıma da (Çağlan Çınar Dilek kanal adıyla) koyuyorum. Bu hafta Pinhani’nin Hele Bi Gel şarkısının solo kısımlarını ukuleleye düzenleyip çaldım. Melodi kısmının notalarını aşağıda görebilirsiniz:

Videoda sırasıyla Intro-Solo-Intro çaldım. Intro kısmı şarkının girişinde ve sonunda kullanıldığı gibi nakarat bölümünde arkaplanda da kullanılıyor. Arka planda da sırasıyla şu akorları kullandım: F – Dm – E7 – Am

7/8’lik bir ritim kullanılıyor. Yani toplamda 8 vuruş yerine 7’ye kadar sayıp bırakmanız ve başa dönmeniz lazım. Bu ritmi anlamak için hızlı şekilde şöyle sayabilirsiniz: Birki – Birki – Birkiüç. Ya da: Bir – ki – Birkiüç. Burda ‘Birki=1 Vuruş’ ve ‘Bir=1 Vuruş’ şeklinde düşüneceğiz.

Bu ritme uyacak şekilde şöyle bir vuruş sistemi kullandım: A_A_A_Y . Burda tahmin edeceğiniz gibi ‘A=Aşağı vuruş’, ‘Y=Yukarı vuruş’, ‘Alt çizgi=Sus’.
